Alex would be pleased to provide Architectural consultations for home owners and home buyers who are looking for a creative and professional perspective on renovations, expansion opportunities and the quality of interior space. Every project starts as flicker of “what if?” and dreaming about the finished space, yet to leap from that point to hiring a contractor and breaking ground can be paralyzing. These consultations are intended to give framework to those “what ifs” and provide an organized approach to designing and constructing your project. It is never to early to reach out.

A typical consultation includes about an hour on-site with you to observe, listen, sketch and talk broadly about long term goals and considerations. Follow up research to answer your questions and understand constraints is then added to a summary of recommendations, identified potential challenges, next steps and how to proceed when the time is right.

Consultations are billed by the hour and are typically around $500 per session, plus travel beyond Oakland.
